Health is a pervasive and omnipotent driver in the lives of individuals and in the development of societies. Improvements in health can lead to better overall wellbeing, longevity, and productivity. Moreover, predictably good health and healthcare can spur investments in other forms of human capital (such as education) and promote greater labor force efficiency. InSTePP conducts research on evaluating the outcomes on new health technologies and keeps an eye on the investments in and changing nature of health R&D worldwide.
