Abstract

This thematic report covers the gender profile for the agriculture sector in Tanzania for crops at national and regional levels. It presents sex disaggregated data regarding male and female headed agricultural holdings on their land ownership, land use, crop production, input use, storage, processing, marketing, investment in agriculture and access to inputs and services for the crops produced in the country, as well as indications of their status of relative well-being/poverty.
