Abstract

For the first time in the history of census taking in Zambia, the Census of Population and Housing, and the Census of Agriculture were combined resulting in a Census of Population, Housing and Agriculture. For reasons to be explained in the report, however, only limited data could be collected from Part I. It is worth mentioning that because the two censuses were combined, it became possible for the first time in the history of agricultural statistics to provide highly disaggregated data much to the delight of many a user.
