This report presents the 2007 and 2008 Annual Agricultural Survey results. The annual agriculture survey is a continuous program of household surveys carried out by Statistics Botswana formally called Central Statistics Office (CSO) in the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, through Agricultural Statistics Unit (ASU), in conjunction with the Division of Policy Research and Statistics in the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). The program is aimed at providing time series data on agricultural sector production indicators and other relevant statistics. It is also aimed at formulating and reviewing of Agricultural policies, programmes and projects geared at improving the lives of Botswana.
